Split Top Stall Practice with one Poi

Summary

Let's practice with one poi first to feel the flow of split top horizontal stall. This move are based on hip reel. Stall BTH from inward, stall farther out top horizontall position.

How to

  1. Start with inward hipmill. Make stall compact and sharp to BTH after poi comes through bottom on the BTB plane. Try make stall lower than top of your head.
  2. Connecting to hipmill on BTB from stall back move.
  3. Make 2 beat on the front plane. Stall after the second beat on the bottom. Try stall farther and straight.
    * The other poi stall BTH during this poi making extra beat in fron. If you practice for making flow clean, then you can skip the 2nd beat.
  4. Connecting to hipmil after stall back move, then go back to 1.
